Family Support Service (FuD)
The Family Support Service (FuD) of the Lebenshilfe Lüdenscheid - Märkischer Kreis is an offer for families with relatives who have a disability or who are threatened by one. The aim of our FuD is to provide people with a disability a maximal quality of living by an adequate offer, to maintain it or to improve it. Supervising and caring relatives receive support and company and thus space for their own conduct of life and recreation.
With our Family Support Service, we provide people with a disability and their families individual offers to enable social participation for them.
We offer among others:
- Counselling and company as well as supervision and assistance
- Participation offers
- Leisure activities
- Support with application formalities
- Support for education
- School integration
We offer support for the independent organisation of leisure time by intervention of trained supervisors and by our diverse leisure and education programme.
We gladly inform you about the individual possibilities of the Family Support Service and the financing by e.g.
- Cost unit regional welfare unit
- Cost unit care insurance / health insurance
- Cost unit youth department
- Private financing

You can reach me on Mondays from 12:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Furthermore, we can arrange counselling appointments!
